Crochet 201 ($80)

An event every week that begins at 1:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until Tuesday, October 24th, 2017

This class is designed for those who have mastered the single crochet stitch and would like to learn additional stitches and techniques. Students will complete three projects: a pot holder/ hot pad, a doily using a granny square pattern, and the students will choose their final project. Kit supplied (if needed) as well as 1 skein of cotton yarn. Must be 18 years of age or older.  Registration closes on September 30th.

Painting with a Fish ($35)

Would you like to learn how to Gyotaku? Join “Painting With A Fish” at The Florida Maritime Museum for a fun modern spin on Gyotaku (Direct Method Fish Rubbing). Attracting Native Pollinators Class ($25)

Thursday, October 26 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Learn how to create a habitat for pollinators in your home garden. Karen Willey, Education Director for the local Florida Native Plant Society will share insights and plant lists with participants. Students will also have the opportunity to take home starter plants and cuttings for their home garden. The butterfly garden and pond planting at the Maritime Museum model what you can do in your home. Students must be 12 years of age or older  Registration closes October 19th
